Massachusetts Senate Race Results – Scott Brown as the Winner
ShareWho won mass senate race?
Republican Scott Brown has won Tuesday’s special election for the U.S. Senate seat formerly held by liberal Democrat Ted Kennedy.
Scott Brown will now become the 41st Republican in the 100-member Senate, which might allow the GOP to block the president’s health care legislation and the rest of his agenda. This is exactly why Democrats needed Martha Coakley to win. She was said to be a “shoe-in” for the Senate seat but Brown made an amazing race to the finish line.

Scott won the magazine’s “America’s Sexiest Man” contest that year, back when he was a 22-year-old law student at Boston College. You can see why.
